Global Marine Communications Again Supports ISS in Presenting The Third Annual Meeting of the Associations

18 August 2009, Fort Lauderdale, FL: The International Superyacht Society (ISS) is pleased to announce that Global Marine Communications (GMC)-the leader in large yacht high speed Internet and voice over IP-is again supporting the organization's Annual Meeting of the Associations. The event is co-hosted with the Professional Yachtsmen's Association (PYA) and has become a highly anticipated affair during the Monaco Yacht Show. This year's event is being held on Friday, 25 September 2009 from 17.00-20.00 hours at the Yacht Club de Monaco.

"Global Marine Communications has experienced a wonderful response to this event," says Alex Ekonomou, the company's technical director. "In the same way as we have collaborated with Hughes Network Systems to provide unique solutions to yacht owner's communications needs at sea, the Monaco event that ISS and PYA have created brings owners and crew together for a terrific party at one of the world's most notable yachting events."

"The support of companies like GMC continues to enable the ISS to hold networking events such as the one in Monaco," says Norma Trease, ISS Executive Committee Member and Events Chair. "That a company like GMC returns to the table year after year is evidence that collaboration within the industry is a strategy that meets with success," she concludes.
