Crew Asia Signs On as
Latest ISS/PYA Monaco Supporter
Meeting
of the Associations
Attracts Great Sponsors and Guests for a Great Event
2 September 2009, Fort
Lauderdale, Florida, USA and Antibes, France: The International
Superyacht Society (ISS) and the Professional Yachtsmen's Association (PYA) are
pleased to announce that Crew Asia-for 17 years the leading specialist in Asian
crew placement aboard the world's most acclaimed superyachts-has joined an
impressive list of sponsors for the associations' upcoming Third Annual Meeting of the Associations. Held annually
at the Yacht Club de Monaco, the organizations expect more than 300 guests to
convene at what has become an important occasion to network during the Monaco
Yacht Show. This year's Meeting of the
Associations is being held on Friday, 25 September 2009 from 17.00-20.00
hours.
"Crew Asia joins a distinguished
list of supporters including Global Marine Communications and Bond TM in
sustaining this wonderful event," says Andrew Schofield, PYA's president. "It
cannot be understated that in today's challenging economic climate both the
creation of alliances amongst industry trade organizations and sponsorship from
a wide ranging profile of industry suppliers makes these kinds of events
possible," he continues.
Long a member of ISS leadership and
long a proponent of programs that support crew, Norma Trease, adds, "It's
interesting the parallels we find in co-hosting this event between ISS and PYA
with those who help us finance the undertaking. Just as a superyacht cannot
function well without a trained and competent crew, so too would an event like
the Meeting of the Associations fall
short without investment from a company like Crew Asia. We are delighted that
they've agreed to support this event; it's a direct correlation to the service
they provide our industry."
